Well, it must be holiday to all Chinese people, and I guess right now all of you already on journey for hunting what you call 'angpao' xD
That is a tradition in Chinese culture to give money inside a red envelope to the people who are not married yet in the family. They believe, doing this thing will give them luck in the future (^^)
And don't forget, Chinese people also shopping for new clothes and usually in red color. New clothes, new pajamas... fun fun fun~
This day must be a very exciting day for children, since they will get so much money from their parents, uncles, aunties, and grandparents...
Rich time!! Haha...
When I was young, I always waiting for this day to come. Already planned what to buy after I got the money xD
I agree.. this day is just like a paradise day.. haha

Every year, me and my family gather at my grandparent's house. All family will come and it always fun to meet them. We play cards, karaoke and do many more fun things. Since we are very seldom gather, that's why lunar new year always be a nice day for me.

And for the angpao.. it got so many cute designs!
I love to collect them when I was young..

I'm a big fan of Otsuka Ai..
She's pretty, got a unique voice and also talented.
That's why I want to share some of Otsuka's info I knew here..

Ai Otsuka (大塚愛, Ōtsuka Ai, born September 9, 1982) is a Japanese pop female singer-songwriter from Osaka, Osaka Prefecture She is best-known for her 2003/2004 hit Sakuranbo, which stayed on the charts for 82 weeks.

Ai Otsuka is signed to record label avex trax, one of the biggest record labels in Japan which also manages other high-profile artists like Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Ami Suzuki, Every Little Thing, and EXILE.

Her first single, 2003's "momo no hanabira", peaking at #86, wasn't a big hit, but stayed on the charts for 17 weeks. Her next single, "sakuranbo", released on the December of the same year was one of the best selling singles of 2004. Gradually climbing the charts to top 5, the single stayed on the chart for 82 weeks, and a special "encore press" version was comissioned, which peaked at #4. In March 2004, her first album "LOVE PUNCH" was released, which debuted at No. 3 on the Oricon Charts and sold more than 320,000 copies in its first week. She continued to release singles and gradually gained popularity among teenage girls. In November 2004, the follow-up to "LOVE PUNCH", "LOVE JAM" was released, which was also a success.

Otsuka has also appearanced in television commercials and acted in the drama Tokyo Friends, released on DVD. Her promotional videos are filmed as mini-dramas. She is qualified to teach kindergarten, and has said she will become a kindergarten teacher if her singing career collapses.

Her newest album, LOVE LETTER was released on December 17'2008. which has peaked at the number 3 spot on the weekly Oricon Charts. It contained all of her singles since "LOVE PiECE" including "Pocket." The third song of the album.
Few weeks after LOVE LETTER album released, Avex announced that "Bye Bye" will be release as her second re-cut single on February, 2, 2009. "Bye Bye" will be the CM song for Asahi Breweries LTD new low-alcohol beverage, The Asahi Slat.

I just watch a very simple movie about human and dog relationships... This is a very sweet story and the dog is very very cute!!

One day a puppy comes to the house of Akari, who has just turned fourteen, and was trying hard to act strong after her mother suddenly fell ill. Year by year, their distance grows, which also leads to her physical distance as she moves to a far off city, and must leave Socks behind to a childhood friend.One day Akari remembers the 10 promises that she had made with Socks and her deceased mother...

Socks really remind me to my Derrick, a golden retriever I pet since birth. A very loyal and protective one (^o^)..
Since Derrick dead, I refuse to pet any other dogs... cuz no dogs can compare to him...
